Motorcycles

Motorcycles are a popular choice on farms for the many tasks suited to this type of transport. Bringing in the cows or rounding up the sheep, motorcycles offer the flexibility and economy to get the job done.

 

Our courses are designed for someone new to motorcycle use and/or for those using motorcycles in the workplace.

Refresher/Competency

A one-day course aimed at refreshing and updating skills or assessing the current competency of those who have already completed the two-day unit standard based course. Or for those wanting non-assessed training.

  • Riding techniques

  • Loads and riding over hills

Two-day Option

Our two-day course may include the workplace recognised NZQA unit standards 19053, 24555, 19054 and 19055.

  • Personal protective equipment

  • Riding skills

  • Basic maintenance

  • Influences in the stability of the motorcycle

  • Riding techniques

  • Loads and riding over hills
